How it differs from Managed Services
Managed Services
We look after your IT. We take care of the systems, the monitoring and the day-to-day running of it all, and your team comes to us when they need help.
Augmented Staff
Your team looks after your IT and we add an extra pair of hands. Our engineer works to your priorities and sits with your team, but they’re still employed and supported by Junius.
You can also mix the two. Plenty of our clients use augmented staff to support their existing IT team, or alongside our managed services.
What you get
Extra technical capability without recruiting for it. You get a skilled engineer without the hiring process, the recruitment costs or another employee to manage. It usually works out cheaper than hiring your own, too.
A dedicated person on the ground. Someone in your office for the hands-on jobs that can’t be fixed remotely.
Someone to tap on the shoulder. Printer stopped working? Laptop won’t connect? Your people just ask. Your engineer works on other Junius tickets in between, but the people in the room always come first.
The full Junius team behind that one person. Your engineer is never on their own. If a problem needs more help, they’ve got the rest of the Junius team to lean on.
Cover when they’re away. If your engineer is off for more than a day, we’ll send someone to cover. We’ll agree how cover works when we set everything up.
Flexibility. One day a week, two days or full-time. We start with what your team actually needs, and we can change it as things change.

Firms where speed matters. Law firms, investment firms and anyone else where an IT problem holds up billable or time-critical work, and waiting on a remote ticket just won’t cut it.
