Personal information, handled properly
Every matter file is full of personal information: identity documents, financial records, medical reports and family details. Under the Privacy Act and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, most firms are responsible for keeping that information safe, and for telling clients and the OAIC if it isn’t.
We make sure it lives in the right place, only the right people can get to it, and it’s encrypted, backed up and monitored. Sensitive documents can be labelled so the protection travels with the file: who can open it, whether it can be printed, downloaded or shared, and what happens if someone tries to send it outside the firm. Identity documents, tax file numbers and other sensitive details can be picked up automatically and stopped from leaving the practice, and there’s a full record of who opened what and when.

From archive boxes to searchable files
Most firms still have closed files, deeds and correspondence sitting in archive boxes or offsite storage. It takes up space, it’s slow to search and it can’t be backed up.
Our digitisation service turns those physical documents into secure digital records. Files are scanned, named and indexed so they’re searchable, then stored with the right access and retention settings. Once digitised, they can also be processed into e-discovery platforms, ready for litigation, disputes or document requests.
Protecting your people's identities
These days attackers rarely break in. They log in. A stolen password, a hijacked session or a fake Microsoft 365 login page can get around multi-factor authentication and give an attacker the same access as one of your staff: their email, your client files, and the chance to change the bank details on a settlement.
That’s why we focus on protecting each person’s identity, not just the network. Our Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) learns what normal looks like for every user, then watches their sign-ins, sessions and mailbox activity around the clock. Warning signs like a session reused from an unfamiliar network, a new inbox rule quietly forwarding mail outside the firm, or a login that doesn’t fit the pattern are pieced together into one clear picture.
If someone is trying to take over one of your people’s accounts, we’ll know before they do. The account is suspended, active sessions are cut off and the password is reset straight away, while our 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) investigates, day or night. That matters most for partners, principals and the staff who handle trust money, because they’re the ones attackers single out.
Identity protection works alongside advanced email security that stops phishing before it reaches the inbox, endpoint detection and response on every device, dark web monitoring for leaked staff passwords, and regular phishing training for your team.
